The convenience of opening a company in Slovenia
In the previous article we explained the first six reasons why it is worth opening a company in Slovenia. Today we will explain the other six to complete our list.
- There are national and European incentives and funding with the aim of creating new jobs. An example: the employer who hires an employee under the age of 26 has a loan of 5,000 EUR.
- Lower labour costs: an employee’s salary is lower than in in most of the rest of Europe (minimum gross salary is approximately 900 EUR).

- Languages that are spoken are Slovenian, Italian and English: in addition, the Slovenian coast is bilingual Italian-Slovenian.
These are just the last six reasons on our list to open a company in Slovenia. But Slovenia is still much more: it is a country of only two million inhabitants, a width of 20,000 square kilometres, with a tourist coast and a remarkably interesting airport area for the exchange of goods. Furthermore, it has entered into many agreements on international duties and VAT with China. It should also be noted a good presence of specialized personnel with a high level of education, extremely low crime, and a strategic geographical position.
