Who are the beneficiaries of the funds?
Investing in Serbia: the beneficiaries of the funds are the entrepreneurs investing in sectors listed in the decree (Decree of the terms and conditions of attracting direct investments, Official Journal of the Republic of Serbia n. 27/2016) and that have applied for subventions before starting the project. However, the beneficiaries are required to provide 25% of all costs. The allocation is made after the government checks the documents and evaluates the project.
Which projects are entitled to receive subsidies?
- Manufacturing sector for projects with minimum costs of €100,000 and offering at least 10 permanent job positions in underdeveloped areas of Serbia.
- Manufacturing sector for projects with minimum costs of €200,000 and offering at least 20 permanent job positions in areas classified as the fourth zone in Serbia.
- Manufacturing sector for projects with minimum costs of €300,000 and offering at least 30 permanent job positions in areas classified as the third zone in Serbia.
- Manufacturing sector for projects with minimum costs of €400,000 and offering at least 40 permanent job positions in areas classified as the second zone in Serbia.
- Manufacturing sector for projects with minimum costs of €500,000 and offering at least 50 permanent job positions in areas classified as the first zone in Serbia.
- International trade in the service sector with a minimum value of €150,000 and that offers at least 15 permanent job positions.
- Agriculture and fishing sector with a minimum value of €200,000 and that offers at least 25 permanent job positions.
The implementation period is 5 years and 10 years for bigger projects.
Important note for future investors in Serbia: construction permit can be obtained in 28 days.
